Welcome to the OTB Bicycle Café

March 1, 2009  posted by rob

OTB (Over The Bar) Bicycle Café offers Pittsburgh’s outdoor enthusiasts a friendly, fun place to have great food and drinks in a unique bicycle-themed environment. The creative and fun atmosphere includes bicycle murals, sculptures and decorations made from re-used bike parts, many of which came from FreeRide. Even the toilet paper dispensers are made from old bike parts. Bike Pittsburgh has also added some wall decorations, providing the cafe with BikeFest posters and wall-worthy version of the Pittsburgh Bike Map.

Come in and try some of our most popular dishes such as the surprisingly delightful Dirt Rag Delight (burger smothered in peanut butter), the delicious Spoke Junkie (cheese filled and rolled zucchini appetizer), or the Venture Outdoors favorite, Pedal Paddle Panini (a tomato, basil, roasted red pepper and buffalo mozzarella Panini).

With its location on East Carson Street, merely 1 block from the South Side Works trailhead along the Great Allegheny Passage (Pittsburgh to DC trail), the OTB Bicycle Café is the ideal stop after spending the day enjoying this South Side Riverfront Trail.
